I finished this last month, any of you guys read it?
I liked it alot, Didn't care for the very, very end but overall I'd rate it a 4 out of 5.
Thoughts?

My wife gave it to me as a gift. I've read the first three chapters, but haven't been further than that yet. So far, I like it. ;D

Overall found it horribly disappointing. Too much telling not enough showing. Weak premise. Pointless plot. Repetitive. Relies to heavily on the reader's relationships with family rather then developing any releastic relationships between characters, and Clay's boy/wife. I mean I felt nothing for his search for his kid. Thinly developed characters. And one of the worst endings ever. I used to be a King fan, but after reading this and Everything Eventual I'll defintely not read another thing by him again...ever.

I must agree with Kevin. I was tremendously disappointed with this book. The first handful of chapters were tremendous! Then King branched off and lost the tension of the novel. The characters were poorly crafted (which is strange for a King novel) and the plot was drawn out.

I stopped reading half way through. I always buy the books when they come out, but I haven't read a book from Stephen King, cover to cover, (with the exception of On Writing) since Gerald's Game.
