I'm really curious about ABC's revival of The Night Stalker and NBC's Surface (a.k.a. Fathom).

night stalker does look kind of interesting. and i have liked some things ive seen about surface. i cant imagine how they will make that last for a whole season while holding back enough that people keep coming back, but who knows?
have you seen ads for invaders? invasion? something like that? it had a few decent moments in the trailers, too...generally, im pretty skeptical about tv, plus, i hate having shows that i get hooked by...the fact that they plan your wek for you (you WILL be at your house on wed at 9) just bugs me...but i do it...at least until i get that tivo...although i have a vcr and dont record shows that often, so maybe it wont make a difference.

We'll see what happens. When I heard the synopsis for LOST, I didn't see how it was going to work either, but it sure as hell did. I don't know...I found that I really never set the VCR to record anything, but I've found that the DVR makes it so darn easy to record a show or a whole series automatically. The only trouble is finding time to watch everything you record!  |

The Nightstalker has me intrigued as well. Fingers cross, but it looks pretty good. Kind of got the MILLENNIUM vibe from it. Of course, that guy is no Darren McGavin.

I think it would be cool to see them cast Darren McGavin as the newspaper editor who is always on Kolchak's case. That would be an interesting roll reversal and a nice tribute to the original.  |

McGavin passed away, I believe.
Sad....would've been a great idea and I had no idea they were revamping that show. That was a fave of mine.
So, y'all will have to keep me up to speed on these shows.....I have no time for TV and think most of it sucks anyway.

I've got my fingers crossed that it will be good and that, if it is good, it will not get cancelled. So, y'all will have to keep me up to speed on these shows.....I have no time for TV and think most of it sucks anyway. lol By and large, you're right. LOST and Battlestar Galactica are too shining examples of greatness, however. I will keep you posted on Night Stalker. Something tells me it's going to be on Wed. nights after LOST. They've moved Alias from that slot and they are promoting it heavily during reruns of LOST. I'm waiting for my Fall Preview Entertainment Weekly that maps it all out. |

Yeah...I'm kind of excited about Night Stalker. I hope it lives up to that preview. Invasion is going to have the 10 PM slot after LOST on Wednesdays. They pushed LOST back an hour. This show looks interesting too. abc.go.com/primetime/invasion/ |
