It's finally coming out on dvd! I bought the first season and I've watched it four times already.
This was my favorite television of all time and I had the entire 1st 5 seasons taped. Unfortunately, I watched them so many times that they began to break down. This is embarassing to admit, but I actually signed an online petition calling for it's dvd release (twice). Earlier this year I imported a Dutch collection of 36 episodes only to discover that 12 of them were in German. LOL
That wait is over--Warner Brothers is releasing all of the seasons. Season 2 comes out late October.
Anyone else fans?

I know what you mean! I had tapes and tapes of them as well. About half way through the series, I moved into an apartment that did not get HBO. I was so bummed. I have this huge coffee table book that goes into the entire history of Tales, from comic to the big screen. It gives an episode guide for the entire series, and I missed some really good episodes. One of my favorites is the one where Bryon James played the foreman of a logging camp, and he was insanely jealous of his hot, young wife. He finds one of the young lumberjacks with her and beats him so badly that the man goes blind. What do the other lumberjacks do? They tie their boss and his wife up, put them in the middle of logs, and have the blind lumberjack practice his chainsaw skills. Classic! Can't wait to get them all. ;D

I would love to have Pumpkinhead letterboxed (see related "Guity Pleasure" thread). That's why I haven't purchased it up until now. I keep waiting on MGM to get with the program and release a Special Edition. Hmmm...that coffee table book sounds great! It is. I set it out every October, but I put it away the rest of the year so it doesn't get messed up.

LOL. I bought, then returned PUMPKINHEAD because I didn't realize the it was fullscreen! LOL It took me another two years to find that import version so I could have it in widescreen. I believe I got it from Xploited Cinema. I think that I might have bought that TALES FROM THE CRYPT set there as well.
Yeah, you may want to keep that TFTC book in good shape!

I need to get that Dvd. It would be badass if it came back to television.

All Through The House...was my favorite one out of the first season. I liked that one too. My favorite from the first season, however, was 'til Death.

Yup, All Through the House was mine as well. "'Till Death" was also good.
The second season comes out late October. Can't wait for that one as that's where they really get good.
