Here are a few I could not stand.
1. The Haunting: The movie had a star filled cast, but just could not pull it off.
2. The Fog: I thought this movie had some interesting twists, but did not even match the "scare level" the first one did.
3. When A stranger Calls: Worst remake ever next to psycho. I have one word for Camilla Belle (Jill Johnson female lead) Unibrow. Who would even think to do this a PG 13? It was not even close to scary.
4. House Of Wax: I could not stand this one at all, but I will say the Paris Hilton death scene was my favorite.
5. Psycho: Another star filled cast how they found themselves in this movie is beyond me.
6. The Wicker Man: I like Nicolas Cage this movie was just a little to slow moving for me.
7. The hills Have Eyes Two: Ok this movie was not good when they re did it in 1985, and it's still not good today.
In my opinion these are the best.
1. The fly: I liked this one maybe even more than the first. Jeff Goldblum did a fantastic job playing Seth Brundle. The effects were really good to.
2. The Blob: I loved Kevin Dillon in this movie, but we all have to admit the best acting came from the blob. LOL
3. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: I can not get enough of this movie. I could never choose between this one and the first, they were both to good.
4. Dawn Of The Dead: I enjoyed how the zombies were changed some from the original. The first will always be my favorite, but I have to say they did A wonderful job.
5. The Thing: This movie kept me guessing I love that! I am also a big fan of Kurt Russell.
6. The Hills Have Eyes: The scare factor was huge with me on this movie. Death scenes were really cool.
7. House On Haunted Hill: This is another that I could not decide if the original is better. The graphics in gore in this movie were really great. Geoffrey Rush was a wonderful pick to play Stephan H. Price, so was Famke Janssen (Evelyn Stockard-Price) and Jeffrey Combs (Dr.Richard Benjamin Vannacutt). The second House On Haunted Hill had really bad acting but was worth it for the effects.
8. Black Christmas: Ok this one was cheesy not so good remake, but I liked it. The eye ball eating, incest, and skin cookies made it different than what I have seen in a long time. Robert Mann (Billy) and Dean Friss (Agnes) did a little to good of a job being creepy.
