But it's the ones that weren't at all scary that you remember the most.
However, I still won't watch or read goosebumps til this day cause it scared the poop out of me one time.
And I still can't watch the movie "Little Nemo". Don't know if anyone's heard of it, but it's about a little boy who's having this huge nightmare the whole movie. *shivers* I hate that movie!

Hmm...Goosebumps was a pretty good Tv series. I liked Goosebumps. I also liked Nightmare Room. I didn't care for Tales of the Cryptkeeper, however.

mmm mmm good.
I;ve seen night gallery, outer limits, twilight zone, tales from the crypt, are you afraid of the dark (an excellent show i've always thought), goosebumps, and of coarce the true ICON of my younger days. MONSTERVISON with Joe Bob Briggs. I never liked goosebumps for some reason. The whole structure of the show (and the books) bored me. I felt talked down to. Outer Limits and twilight did many of the goosebump ideas much better. Night gallery was a truely creepy show and the reruns of it i've seen have always left me a little leary. Are you Afraid of the dark I loved though, particularly the whole writing group premise of it. Resonated really well. And a lot of the stories at least SEEMED original. Tales from the crypt was comedy as far as i was concerned, and i liked it as such.
Little nemo is actually a sweet little story about a kid who goes to dream land and defeats his nightmares. Kinda cool actually.

THAT IS THE ONLY MOVIE TO EVER GIVE ME NIGHTMARES, AND THIS IS COMING FROM THE PERSON WHO SAW THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE WHEN SHE WAS 5. IT WAS DREADFULLY HORRIFYING!

IT WAS DREADFULLY HORRIFYING! *hahahhaa* Sorry about that, but the fact of the matter is it's just one of those things. Hell, Omega Man had me scared stupid for years, and that movie is (although based on an EXCELLENT vampire novel, one of the best) not particularly scary, or horrific. It didn't help that my mom would wake me up in the middle of the night with lines from it outside my dour. (nevvvvvellll nevvvvveellll). When my dad was a kid the trasformation scene from the original nutty professer freaked him out. I had a friend who can't watch the wizard of oz. I had a nightmare based on CANDYLAND once (*shudders* the carmel *shudders*). It's amazing the banal, innocent things that can freak you out by pushing the right buttons.

Omega Man didn't bother me at all, but The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price (also based on I Am Legend) did. When his wife is at the door....*shiver*

There was an episode of Night Gallery on On Demand when the family moves into this house with a chest in the attic. On Halloween the doorbell rang and then she opened up the door and that was the part when I got scared so bad I ran like crazy. There was a skelleton at the door saying "I want my chest!"

(Ok, I just got here)
Anyone else remember Saturday Nightmares on USA? They'd show a scary movie and then episodes of Ray Bradbury Theater and The Hitchiker, and sometimes old Alfred Hitchcock presents. That was some good stuff. Got me hooked at a young, young age.

I sure do! I loved it! ;D Used to be, we had local horror hosts and the USA, TNT, etc. stuff to keep us satisfied. Now the only thing we have is Fear Fridays on AMC and they repeat way to often and rarely show anything good.
